Casaveen lies deep in the heart of the Tasmanian Midlands, in the historic village of Oatlands with its beautiful Georgian sandstone buildings lining the Main Street.
Just one hour’s drive north of Hobart along the aptly named Heritage Highway. It’s a great place to break your journey between Launceston and Hobart.
Cafe
The spacious Café with indoor and outdoor seating serves beautiful fresh Tasmanian produce daily, offering delicious lunches and tempting desserts along with award winning Tasmanian wines and the best coffee outside Italy! You can also purchase locally sourced Tasmanian food and gift items from our gourmet pantry and showroom.
Business travellers make great use of our meeting room. Casaveen is centrally located between Launceston and Hobart and colleagues can meet in our well equipped facility and enjoy Casaveen's catering and ample onsite parking for cars and buses, with level entry to all buildings.
Visitors Centre
People visit Casaveen for all sorts of reasons. Independent visitors call in for a cup of coffee and chance to learn about Tasmania's history in the visitor centre.
The visitor centre features the history of the Midlands and tells the story of Casaveen's evolution from wool-growing to the manufacture of knitwear that is exported around the world.
Tours
Tour groups enjoy taking a factory tour and exploring the delights of our showroom.
Casaveen is a working factory producing wonderful pieces of knitwear, in rich & vibrant styles and colours, custom made by skilled craftsmen.
